Dear Georgia Bulldog Club of Jacksonville Members,

First and foremost, welcome to the largest Bulldog club in the nation! I’m your 2026 President, Chris Nieman. It is truly an honor to introduce myself as the new President of the Georgia Bulldog Club of Jacksonville. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and excited to serve alongside such a passionate group of Bulldog faithful.

My connection to the University of Georgia runs deep. I am a proud UGA graduate, earning my degree in 2013, and my time in Athens helped shape both my professional career and my lifelong commitment to this university. While at UGA, I had the unique opportunity to cover Georgia athletics as a beat writer, primarily following the football program. Being embedded with our teams, telling their stories, and witnessing firsthand what Georgia football means to this community only strengthened my appreciation for the passion, tradition, and excellence that define the G.

That passion began long before I ever stepped foot on campus. Like many of you, I grew up loving the Bulldogs. That early love—passed down through family, fall Saturdays, and unforgettable moments—molded me into the supporter I am today. It’s a pride that never fades and one that continues to guide my involvement and leadership within this club – where I’ve been a member since 2019.

One of the aspects of the Georgia Bulldog Club of Jacksonville I am most proud of is our commitment to giving back, particularly through the Vince Dooley Scholarship, established in 1988. By raising money to support local students in their pursuit of a University of Georgia education, we honor Coach Dooley’s legacy while directly impacting the future of our university and our communities. Supporting students who will become the next generation of Bulldogs is a responsibility I take to heart.

As president, my goal is to continue building on our strong foundation, strengthen member engagement, and ensure that our club remains a meaningful force in supporting UGA and its students. I look forward to working with all of you and sharing many more great Bulldog moments together.
